Thomas Trammell III

Venice is home. I grew up here and have watched this area change over the last forty years. Real estate has been part of my family’s business in Venice for three generations, and starting in 2008 I spent nine years managing those properties, including through the Great Recession.

I have been a licensed real estate agent for the last ten years and have worked commercial and residential transactions ranging from small single-family homes and office condos up to multi-million dollar multi-tenant retail properties.

Before that I served eight years in the Army, including a combat tour in Afghanistan. I came back to Venice because it is home, and I could not picture raising my own family anywhere else.

I am an active member of the local Sertoma Club. I have served as a board member and Chair of Venice MainStreet and as Vice Chair of the City’s Economic Advisory Board. I am also working toward my brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, which tells you something about how I approach challenges.
